Greetings:

The Longs I owned never got to their true potential as I was Noobish when I owned them. The Short got to 71 MPH at 10, 400 in a Corsa with 7.57 gears. Plus the Short didn't rattle itself apart in 9 months.

Long vs short

Rev limit on a twain bore:
Best for low end:
Best for high end:
Which sounds softer:

Seems to me like the long, short, and v8 pipes are inhibiting the corsa from hitting its potential. Considering we know its capable of over 12 R's with a good pipe. So whats gonna be the ball park price of the new polini pipes? I cant wait to see the dyno on it!

I'd wait. I needed a pipe asap and didn't have the luxury of waiting for the yasuni at the time. For what I paid for the long I'm happy with it. 68 gpsd and it had more I had to shut it down due to traffic. I will throw down for the polini now though. Highest Rpms I have seen on my long is 10200ish and that was rare. And it has rattled right from the start.

What's the C16 pipe that will compete with the pg long you speak of G9? Possible date for sale? Looking for a decent pipe set up on a Malossi cast, for some decent reliable power, nothing crazy high revving like the corsa/yasuni set up though.

happen to have dyno for Scorpion pipe? How well does it match up w/ Corsa compared to polini pipes?

Kind of also seems to be great in mid but lack up top, but I've yet to have a chance for a proper tune w/ the scorp
projects galore :nerd:
