What year headsets are you guys installing on your 94-01 elites? Which works best to install. I was planning on keeping the stock forks unless they need to be changed in order to install the headset. Thanks

All need modification so it is not easier for one or the other. imo
Might as well get disc brakes also.

The only easy way is if you have the handle bars with the headset.
Mr BonesV has the easiest way without modding the fork trees.
I cut corners on mine, but it worked, so I'm very happy.
The other thing is how can you get a complete headset here in the states is another story.
Look at spending $300 plus for a headset conversion.

I will be doing the conversion following bones thread as soon as my bearings get it. USPS man, I hate it.

Headset is totally worth it imo it looks so so much better then the elites.

Thanks, I like the method bones did. I think that will be my choice. I've always wanted one so now it's time to get it done.
