1986 Honda Spree Idles Great, Wont Run Off Kickstand

Video Link is to youtube. I posted it so that people could see the issues first hand. At the end the bike also backfires and dies. Any suggestions is appreciated.

As you can see something is not running right on this bike. When it’s up on the kickstand, it will run great, but if you push it off the kickstand and it bumps or bounces it dies out almost instantly when I am sitting on the bike, but the minute I go up and down or hit any sort of bumps it dies out again, I’ve changed out the bystarter, clean the carb multiple times and checked compression. The compression is 85 to 90 after 4 to 5 kicks. I’ve also changed out the CDI and put a new spark plug in. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also changed the reeds from a parts bike that I have and still nothing. I have new Reid’s coming on Monday but figured I would give the parts engine a try.

Sounds like it could be a dodgy electrical connection somewhere? Start at the coil and spark plug wires to see...

My money is on a partially broken green ground wire or loose connector at the coil . . .
Mine would die when going over a bump . . . been there done that
