Hello - Intro and photos of my current stable of scooters

Post by GIJoeBob »

Greetings everyone. I am new to the site and anxious to get started.

I recently purchased 7 Honda scooters from a local Honda shop that inherited the scooters when they bought out another shop. None of them run and most of them are in fairly good shape. I am hoping to repair and sell as many as I can, keep a few perhaps and sell the rest for parts.

My collection so far is this-

Image
1980 Honda Express II, 1985 Spree, 1984 Aero 80

Image
1986 Spree, 1985 Aero 50

1985 Aero 80, 1987 Elite 50s

The pink 1987 Elite 50s looks to be in the best shape out of all of them so I am starting with that one. I am trying to find info on it but I am coming up with very little because I cannot find reference to the VIN number anywhere. The VIN number is-

JH2AF1208HS013897

and it doesn't match any of the VIN numbers I can find from that year-
'87 V.I.N.
49 State: JH2AF060*HS300001~
Iowa: JH2AF061*HS300001~
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think the one I am really hoping to get running and keep is the Express II. That is a cool looking little ride. Image

I got all seven scooters for $200. I thought it was a good deal.
