I picked up some of that dupli-color chrome today and its the s***. I highly recommend it for painting any metal. I did the cover and intake today because my scooter is out of commision for awhile again so i'm going back over it and finishing what i didn't get done before.

hah thanks, but I'd recommend sticking with the stock crank if you go full Corsa route..

stroker is fun but more maintenance and less reliable than 70cc, thats why I decided on the Corsa after all. But hey if you got money to blow and can get your cases cut stroke by all means  you'll be fastest scoot in michigan guaranteed haha

as if anybody with a dio motor is going to do minor stuff like that.
Its fun to tweak.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Yeah that faka is on tight!! Couldn't get mine off either, even with my impact with like 20hits.. lol Finally got it off when I took the case to my shop before splitting, using a much stronger impact

I would try that before torching it, just ride to some auto place and ask to borrow their impact

here is what i do, i take a 2x4 piece of wood, stick it thought the rim ontop or bottom of the belt case.

Now get a socket and a heavy duty wrench, and a long bar. (3ft or so). Then just use that like a breaker bar and that thing will come off.

i used a 4ft breaker bar and wrench to get lug nuts off of a 1940's ford. We had a very strong impact at the body shop and even that would not take them off.
