AERO 50 OWNERS

Post by Surfing »

I was looking for an AERO 50 and can't seem to find one. I just like the look.

Why do you guys like the AERO 50 so much? Is there an FAQ with all the variations, options, and production years AERO 50. I want to know as much as I can before buying one.

Which is the best AERO 50 year to get? What are common mods? What about DIO motor swap?

Thanks for all the replies!!!

Post your pics if you have any.

1985+ is where the performance parts and dio compatible mounts are.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

ive kinda noticed you can't be picky with scooters. I look for them all the time, and you can only find what you find. Not like a car where you can chose the exact year and model you want

Truedat. My friend said finding an AERO 50 will be kinda hard, especially since not too many of them still around. The rarity makes me want one even more!

my brother in law has one. Its pretty peppy and has plenty of power to haul 2 people with good acceleration still. My spree beats it on the top end because i can go about 35 on a long straight away and he can only go about 30. But around town he kills me

mine did 43 stock, 55 with a pulley kit and bore kit, and then i got an elite, stopped caring about it, and gave it to darat... but i still know a s*** load about them... also, outside of here, most ppl think the aero is better then a elite, making them expensive cuz they think there amazing, O, and they didnt make many.

I have never seen an exhaust with a washer on the head pipe on an Aero or '87 Elite, nor have I ever seen a restrictor plate on the variator on these models. Apparently though, some models are restricted...

If it's unrestricted, then his Aero is just in bad need of a tune up.... :P

Hmmm.. Then I'll edit my previous statement. Thanks for the correction.

BTW, was this on an Aero? If so, what year?
