I wear a full faced helmet...NOT because it is the law...but because my wife would kick my * if I didnt...lol :)

I agree with your wife. :-)

Years ago I rode with an "old school" biker who dressed up in brown leathers - even on hot summer days. He gave me the best motorcycle advice I've ever been given: "Dress for the accident, not for the ride."

if your 19 you dont have to wear a helmet in michigan and leagelly a moped cant go over 30 unless it has a motorcycle plate

i do almost all the time, i was hit by a car on a moped and the only reason i am here today is because of the helmet

I always wear a helmet if I ride outside my neigborhood or campground on my scooter. I always wear a helmet if on my motorcycle. ILL does not require helmets which I think is stupid. I believe you should be required to wear one on anything at the M class (125cc or above I think).
