iowa? or not?

i know that an iowa edition spree has lower speeds so can you tell me the top speed on a honda spree iowa?i also bought the spree with no body so i dont know if its an iowa or not. i know there is some way to tell by the vin number can you tell me that as well? i would find the top speed my self but i am still waiting for my starter to come back from being re-built. they are still trying to find parts.which leads me to my next question, do you know where i can buy a spree starter that works cheap?thankz.

yep, look at the vin, if it has a 60 in it, its non iowa if it has a 61 in it, it is an iowa

iowa=27ish top speed
non iowa=30 top speed

(wow!)

if you do have an iowa there are a few things to take off the restrictions and get you pushing that 3 extra mph

thanks for the help. it is not an iowa version thank god. neither are the other two.
