This is my '85 Spree. How come I never see another Spree with the rear basket?

Bear45-70 Its an option nobody bought.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Bear45-70,

I think its time, age and wear that has taken out the original baskets, people still want them, they don't stay around on eBay.

There was a thread this year that the rear basket can be still bought, fits the Elite 80.

Re - Front basket: Being that you are in WA - there's a guy in south Tacoma Craigslist with Spree/Elite front baskets for sale. I bought one from him early this summer. However his idea of 8 out of 10 condition didn't match mine.

mahalo...for the nice words the motor setup i'm currently running is a Malossi 72cc bore with ct manifold, 28 oko, 2k center spring, yellow clutch springs, 9-1 gearing, and some junk pipe... if i get more free time i'll take some pictures of what happened to my pg shorty.

as for my seat i bought it like that. i have another seat that i will be trying with some different kind of leathers.

It's very pink... you should definitely try to do something about the seat
