Why don't you put the 7:1 or even the 6:1 in the drag bike? Don't you think you would get a better Top end? you probably looking for the take off huh???

Sounds good. When you get on the throttle does it just want to wheelie?

not really, well 9:1 does have good take speed. :) both rear spring are 1500. center/shoes. the guessing roller around 45grams. If you are heavy than me , need to back off some grams roller.

he's racing 1/8th mi.. I would take 9:1 over 7 for such a short stretch too, keep the revs up at launch and all the way

7-8.5:1 might be better for 1/4mi though
projects galore :nerd:

I see i see. I think my next build is going to be a torque monster. I want something that will climb a hill at 50mph and pop wheelies at cruising speed. Any suggestions? i'm running 9:1 gears already in a stock elite. But I'm think corsa 72 with a race pipe?

well you have to remember that a small motor has more rev than torque. you might use more like 8.5 /8 :1. I feel that 9:1 is a bit revvy, but then again its al up to you!
