87 Spree Question!

Post by cowboy71 »

Hi, I have a 1987 Honda Spree and I have a question about interchangeable parts and side panels, because I'm getting tired of trying to find a decent rear face plate (tail light, lic. plate and turn signal assembly) that has to be one of the most hardest parts to find for the scooter. I'm trying to think of a way to get away from that part, thinking I might be able to convert the back end to a 1986. I really like this Forum, it's very educational and helps a great deal, every one is kind and thoughtful with some fun behind it. Thank you in advance :)

I THINK the frames are the smae so a 86 rear will bolt up.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

You can run a rear mudflap/taillight combo off of an 86' and buy those small aftermarket turn signals and adapt them to the plastic on the taillight base. Keep your stock 87 rack.
