seat cover/ scooter cover

i got a nice tear on my 1993 elite SA50 and it keeps getting worse. I dont have a place to keep the scooter out of the elemnts. So for the time being I'm looking for a seat cover that will keep the tear from getting worse, think shower cap/drawsting, and maybe ill do a reupholster in the spring, also since the scoot is still being ridden from time to time in the cold weather but I'd still like some protection from the elements can anyone recommend a decent cover for the bike that will keep the rain and snow off? thanks

replacement seat covers are all over ebay, their pretty easy to install too, with rudimentary hand tools its about a 30 min job
