CDI UNITS?

I got a good question will a Performance CDI UNIT FROM A SE50 FIT THE SPREE?

umm that makes things a lil different lol MORE POWER lol.. that with a bore kit and a up jet i bet u can get a spree rolling about 45

I think 45 is wishful thinking. I bet more around 41ish.
84,85,86 sprees: Intake mod, drilled pipe, .020" milled 1985 head, dome piston, 2mm raised exhaust port, sb50 reeds, 34mph average.

i had a stock spree do 37 non down hill either

would this be the CDI unit off of a stock se50, or like the one found on ebay?

Stock CDI is good for over 10K rpm.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Yes, keithw ran one with a tuned pipe that quick with no problems.

The stock spree CDI is not restricted, it is good for way more than the engine can crank.
