Drive belt question
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and bike restoration. Can someone tell me the exact specs on the drive belt for a '87 Spree. Thanks

Re: Drive belt question
Honda part number 23100-GK8-870 sometimes 23100-GK8-8700 it is the same belt...Honda OEM is measured in mm but some people have posted one here about switching to a 1/2 inch top width/24" v cog belt but I haven't seen any reports about how that worked for those people. I got a brand new one on ebay last week for $5 syou can keep an eye out there, you can google 23100-GK8-870 or find them at the retailers listed on this forum here

I have tried all kinds of other belts and none work as well or last as long.

BELT, DRIVE 23100-GK8-870 (replaces 23100-GK8-003) MSRP $27.78
My dealer gives me a discount, $19.25.
FYI the service manual say minimum width is 10.5 mm (0.41") while new is 11.5 mm (0.45").
The high horsepower Aero 125 says that you check the belt every 5,000 miles.
