Ruckus Variator/Aero question

o.k. so should i want to do this do i need the whole shebang off the ruckus?i.e.- slide the complete stock one off and then the Ruckus on-i'm assuming that i have to have x amount machines off the o.d. of the ruckus housing??

yup, i cut .030 off the OD and machine a reducer for the ramp plate, since the ruck has a 14mm crank...

could you please elaborate on the >machine a reducer for the ramp plate^ bit?
can't seem to find anyone with the specific do's and don't of this modification.i was somehow under the impression it was ,for the most part a bolt-on deal except the slight oversize of the o.d. of the variator itself.
