Year 6? I think that will be a bit advanced. My son could do a better job than this in 2nd grade.

Greetings:

Nobody's perfect in spelling and punk-two-Yay-shun all the time. We're here to discuss scooters. Don't make me come up there... :x

Moderators, I think the unkind posts should be deleted, and we should limit challenges to San B's ambitious claims to the mechanical issues at hand.

I don't know. I think some guys need to be challenged to do a better job of grammar/punctuation, etc and stop with the simpleton lingo so common on the internet. Sorry guys, but I'm old school. :?

Do you mean "through" or "throw". What is a rench? Oh, you mean a wrench?
It's very simple, redrocket. grammar/punctuation and spelling have to do with communication. If you are unable to communicate the message so it is understood, the reader can not know what your problem is. Your own words say it all, "as long as it gets the point acrost (misspelled) i think it should fly". That's the problem. There have been several posts that I have not responded to, simply because I could not understand the problem, due to the poor writing.

You owe it to yourself to improve your writing and communication skills. If I have to struggle to try to understand you, I may not try to help. And if the shoe is on the other foot, and I'm needing help, I can only hope you can speak legible enough that I can understand.

Not just that, you owe it to the people you are talking to. In putting up with just getting by, you are saying in effect that the people you are talking to are not worth the effort of improvement.

I understand that language skills are legitimately hard for some people, but we should always continue to better ourselves.

No, it's not a waste. Every now and then, these things need to be said.

I think GIJoeBob sez it best:

Greetings:

Near as I could tell, the last time a scooter issue was mentioned was September 6. It would have died a well-deserved death on September 21 but for another non-scooter-related comment on October 10th. Your wish is my command.
