Painting / Color Scheme Concepts (15 designs) Which is best?

The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

I'm using "Gimp" which is a free, open source graphics editing app.

1. Select areas you wish to edit. Cut / paste as new image
2. Desaturate each one and save as png (for transparency and quality)
3. Select "Colorize" under the colors menu.
4. Copy / Paste

You'll probably want to mess around with the other options to fine tune colors. Vivid / bright colors such as yellow are a pain due to the reflections in the original image.

This is as close as I can get it for right now. Yellow is a hard color:

I'm using free select, yes. Don't hold the mouse button down, just click to select points. Otherwise, if you hold the mouse button down the whole time, it'll be a free hand selection (which is ok for small stuff). I did each one in a very quick and sloppy manner. Maybe 40-50 points per part, cutting corners every time I could. Best to work with a larger image.

Here's my design for Wheelman: :geekdance: j/k

Mustangwags requested a Red Bull spree color scheme. I made a mock-up. Sorry, I don't remember who's Spree this is in the pictures, but I included the original. It's nothing fancy, but may give others some ideas.
