Greetings:

I had called Tractor Supply with a detailed description of the # 4 battery: "Yeah we've got that.". It's $45. Nope. Not even close to the right size. A local wrecker/shop had a few brand-new in boxes, a bottle of acid included. He wanted $85. I asked if he could split the difference with the Dealer price. Sorry, he wouldn't come down a penny. CyaL8R.

After driving all over town, I ordered one from the Honda dealer. By phone. $54 including shipping & fully charged.

Maybe I'm weird, but I tend to get rid of dead batteries. They are useless other than for a core.
They lose charge sitting.

Actually a fully charged battery, disconnected, should be good a year later. It's the Regulator/Rectifier that has a small milliamp draw that kills batteries over a period of months without a battery maintainer on them. That's the big draw back of electronic Reg/Rect.
