Ahh I've ridden my friend's crf450, d*** that newfangled auto-decomp. Luckily I'm still young, strong, and cheap :P

As far as mopeds go, I used to ride a friend's elite with knobbies off a crf50, an 84cc ruima bore, and 8.4:1 gears. It was pretty fun, although powerslides can definately catch your case/exhaust depending which way you are going. I'd prefer to put on a rear kicker cover and turn left :P
We were going to weld a reinforcement bar from the steering neck to the motor mount area, but lost interest.

Ya, anything under 200 rpm on the unicam and that auto decompression is on, I love it.

put a heavy duty one on there
The Aero 80 was a friends and he is too cheap for that. But I did put a heavy spring on my first elite E and I recommend it for off road or bigger ridders. I never got more than six inches of air on the rear so I didn't rebar it either.

I've seen a Helix done similar to that, but Geesh, a 50? No way.
