The buggy wasn't part of the package, luny. They are pretty uniquely constructed. The sides, doors and top are cloth; wood sub frame and structure. That particular buggy was wrecked by a spooked horse last summer. Splinters everywhere but no one seriously hurt.
My wife wants to build a non amish buggy. Composite construction, good bearings. Not steel tires.

I had a friend a few years back who bought an Amish buggy to refurbish and ride. I think his wife may have even made some Amish outfits. I am intrigued. I could almost convert to Amish... But they wouldn't let me ride my scooters.
elitedio's sneaks in the good stuff. I don't know much about radio, so searched on his R390. Post WWII vacuum tube design it was used from the Korean war to the Gulf War. Twenty six vacuum tubes & 85lbs. Chassis shot below and more in the link below: http://www.radioera.com/r390a.htm

Yeah lots of tubes and gears. There is one tube that acts as a ballast in the power supply that is not available. A silicon part is available if needed. Other tubes are available from the usual sources such as ebay. I bought my receiver from a friend who is a ham. He has 3 other 390s. My unit is in pretty good shape in that it is complete with the "good" tube shields and is clean. I have not started it up yet.
The thing about this is that the number of circuits is very small compared to modern digital stuff.

::edit:: i just checked my site, hardly any of the links work, but there are some pictures still.
This winter it gets a front mount intercooler, a new wastegate, Better fans for the radiator, and hopefully poly motor mounts. Also have to fix a pesky oil leak and a noisy speedometer. I could buy an awful lot of nice scooters for the money that's been sunk into this car, and that doesn't include the purchase price.
I have a very understanding wife.

Do you have the Weber turbo or the Weber natural? what bbk is available for it?
I have the CFMOTO-500 in mine. They came out with the Weber a month after I got mine. My dealer said there is a kit to make it a 650 for it but could never get me a price, so I called Ruesch and they said it was around $1200 about the same price as the turbo. I'm trying to find one online cheaper. The CFMOTO-500 is a real common engine. If I cant find one, I think I'll go with a bigger carb and some porting. I'd like to put in a 700 FI engine out of a Rhino in it, but cant find just a engine and wiring harness.
