Congrats on the Met purchases. You'll be happy, and those things are solid 45-49 mph scooters with a Polini variator and CDI. Leave the airbox and exhaust alone, and you'll be running very quietly/efficiently.

They are geared taller. If you want a better take off, you could swap in some ruckus gears but then you wouldn't have as much top end.

I wish sprees where that plentiful here in Nova Scotia Canada, I know of one spree, mine! You never see them here. Lots of vespa, a few honda jazz, the odd ruckus, and perhaps a dio here and there. i see the odd Honda express nc50 now and then, I have one of those too. as for your 6 sprees, I would peronally keep em, if they don't cost monthly to own, just keep them around. That is just me and of you always have to do what you think is right. i am a pak rat and when i get somthing like a spree I never ever sell it, I could never get enough money to cover the emotional attachment to it. Look at it this way, now you and 6 friends can go riding! And congrats on the new rides by the way, They look awesome!! I hadnt seen one those yet. I will going to look at the local honda san tomorow just to see one up close.

The Mets are also restricted.

How To: De-restrict your 2006+ Honda Metropolitan:

Some mets come with the restrictor plate. I know the dealer here has some on the floor with and without the plate so you can get one to register as a motorcycle or a moped (check your title, around here they only have a restrictor plate if the model ends in a "p"). The restrictor plate on a met is much smaller than on a ruckus (think pinkie to thumb comparison).
