you think that thing will be paint-able once the clear burns off or nah? I just don't want it rusting and looking ridiculous, not to mention high temp black looks stealth.

ouch lucky your beautiful pipe wasnt one when it went down. id be so sick if somebody droped my bike and messed up the beautiful $200+ pipe on it. btw are you still buying the malossi 72? i've heard many good things about that bore WHEN ported and case matched. their port design are better, so i've been told. if you wont drop in power with no cutting get the polini corsa. but hey if you have the tools and trust yourself or the person workin on you motor go for it. get done right the first time before you fry that good motor. good luck and lets see the pipe on the bike

Greetings:

UNI makes a straight and a 15-degree angled filter with a 1" diameter donut. It fits.

which do you think would be best? keoni @ vt stated I should run my stocker carb if I want the torque with the 72cc malossi/8.4:1/pg typhoon setup.

also... who even carries uni filters? does vt?

Does the stock carb offer enough fuel to keep it cool at an idle?

really really. I am too. I'm going pretty slow on this project. I am going to be body filling the body panels and sanding and prepping. I plan on using bumper paint on all the unpainted plastic as well. I just ordered a new front fender from bikebandit... there goes another 74 bucks.
