The spree is a fine vehicle, if light city traffic is all you do.

This is my daughters Spree, I recently sprayed it flat black. She is 15 and can cruise 37 mph (gps) all day.

I bought a 1987 engine off ebay, and did all the mods listed in my sig. Im 200#'s and I can run 35 on it with nice acceleration. I have not modded the pulley or put on a wider belt, but the motor does not seem rpm limited to me on none of my Sprees. It seem that to go faster I need more power. My slowest Spree runs 33 with me on it.

What painting steps did you take to paint those parts circusracer? And how is the paint holding up?
I once tried to paint several interior peices of my Mustang's interior but it didnt hold up too well.
Thanks!

First I used goo gone on the decals, then I sanded with some 200 grit to smooth out the rough areas. Then I scuffed up everything with some brown scotch brite, next I wiped it clean with some paint thinner. Sprayed a light coat of primer, then hit it the flat black. Now my son wants the other painted flat yellow
