new pics... and yes i know the directionality on the front tire is backwards... once i got the 90/90 on there it was not going to come off for a while.

amazingly enough i got no rub on the front fender from the 90/90 tire, it does however sit on both wheels while on the center stand now.

Greetings:
It will kiss the fender at full dive if you hit a bump on the brakes. I used furniture caster wheels JB Welded onto the centerstand to raise the tires off the pavement. You need 2" ones. I used 1.5"s

jesse1234 what type of helmet is that, where'd you get it and what did it cost? I like that look and might buy one in that style when I decide to upgrade my helmet. Also that paint looks sweet, is it shimmery?

I actually got it off eBay. It's a snow mobile helmet technically, but it's still DOT certified. search something like "ski doo helmet" and you'll find em
and ya the paint does have a nice little sparkle to it

just painted the wheels, other stuff is painted too, just have the floor board in so i can ride it around. more pictures after i get some stuff done to it

bone stock 85 aero 50.
after missing out on a $500 79 vespa, i found this gem and fell in love.
plastic's all smashed and cracked, but the engine runs beautifully and starts right up.
put 100 miles on it in the first 4 days.
it was meant to be....

My "weathered"
STOCK 1989 Elite R. Model that seems to have been for Canada only... Does 70km/h (44mph), not bad for its age!
