Getting the exhaust flange tight quieted things considerably. Imagine that! The other thing it seems to have done is lower the CHT readings by 25 degrees, unless my new #7 plug is contributing. O'Reilly's had them. Oh really? Yes but they're BPR7 HS. Flash doesn't seem to miss the "A".
Malossi now reading a needle's width below 350 with a tank burned. Max speed 42 with tons to spare, waiting for an hour of running time before WOT.
