Time for more Wheelman "photography".

That's a 2.15 Tubeless Metropolitan Rim, in case you're wondering about the gray color. I didn't have the heart to paint it ... the only thing I'm worse at than photography
Full Side-al Nudity:

(Burnt_Toast I'm still waiting for a closer look at that scooter-straddling damsel. Or at least her scooter. :)

Time to pimp some pictures!

Heres my '86 Elite 150D. Me and this bike have covered over 10k in the last 10 years. That includes sitting for a few years due to other things in life(big boat).

Now ive always wanted a Helix ever since i got to test ride one back in 01 or 02. I sold my big Ford truck early this year and bought one. For some reason, i had to find the newest one that i could afford. I found a 2000 model with 21k on it in GA. Drove down there to buy it, took all day to get it out of a shop that it was locked in due to a GA family feud. Got it home, repainted and rode it about 2.5k until it died. Rod is knocking on the crank. Needs a new motor now.

As it was when i bought it. Ugly sucker eh?

i hated the lights on the trunk lid. Removed them promptly.

After its repaint. It has that aged faded look due to the way i painted it, but its baby butt smooth and not a run to be seen. But sadly, this is where it spends all its time now, next to the wall only used as a seat when were hanging out in the shop. If i don't part it out, i will fix it. Time will tell on it.

Sounds bad eh?

Just got through dental-flossing the tire treads. That's a 3.50 Michelin Meat up front. Thanks E.

It looks cleaner than it is... But it is running pretty darned well these days.

I talked to the chopper pilot today. I was unable to persuade him to...

So my bore is opening up, and I'm enjoying faster speeds (along with lower temps). I have a perfect running bike, and most of my panels, so all is well in the world... And then comes the next guy :P
Just when I think I'm happy, one of my best friends (The first person who introduced me to mopeds, let me ride his 110 stroker about 6 years ago, and every bike since) goes out and gets himself a bike.

He has a pretty disc up front with a massive rotor (makes me want a disc):
Image

Big ol' stretch out back (makes me want a stretch):

And a cool paintjob, but I don't really spend too much on looks, so that'll save me some money ;)

So... Called up the boys and:

Test fit a stretch

Haven't had a big project on my bike for a while, should be fun.

That one he got pictured is the sym dd50 frontend. You are going to have to cut the stem and reweld the stem from the bike you are installing it on.
