My 1983 Aero 50 Scooter

Post by RZRob »

Hi folks. I picked up this real beater on Craigslist for $95 and got her running after a good hour on the carb. I was gonna flip it, but wife thought it was cute so I bought tires, mirrors and turn signals (another $80) and a lot of elbow grease and she looks and runs like brand new. Key ingredients (besides a little paint), was Pledge, Color Restorer, Wax, Rust remover and steel wool.

What'dya think of her?

RZ Rob

A rare and precious example of the Grand-Daddy of them all! Older even than the Venerable Spree. Excellent work!!

Well, here's my '01 put together, save the side skirts. The previous owner put the Honda stickers on. I may or may not paint it. I like the flat black look.

I thought it looked ok without the side skirts. I might take them off eventually.
