My wife has her own 2001 SR as well, Jeff-
She did the full frame-up rebuild herself (with only a little help from me with the cylinder install after installing new rings)

she is actually 74cc not 69cc typo on my part..
get it up to 45 on a flat and 40 on all hills and off the clock on a down hill 50 mph
much better than my 89 sa50

Took my son for a short ride today. He absolutely loves scooters. He is almost two and calls everything with 2 wheels a "Scooty".

Why would they put it on that side tho, that's your throttle hand. If it was on the other side it seems like it would be easier access.

Maybe jiangwayne's knockoff version of it
It cracked by the mounting flange near the muffler (I didn't use their extra thick exhaust gasket). Still works (probably not as well) but it is even more loud now.
I still do 55+ on the stock pipe, and I actually like the quietness when I cruise town. The carb is still loud as * though, been considering a gatorade bottle airbox
