Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So... my wife had a few plans to make her 2001 Elite SR look a little "cleaner" after seeing some other pics we saw on the 'net.
We ordered the parts, and she put them on. All i helped with was removing the rear tire from the wheel and then mounting it back after powdercoating was done. Everything else she did by herself! -I am SO proud!

New mods include:

Powdercoating the rear rim white w' "Crushed Diamond" glitter clear coat (can only be seen in sunlight)
New Double Star chrome rear clutch cover p'coated "Wrinkle Black"
Clutch bell polished
JDM Clear taillight painted w' Red Vans Japanese Taillight spray
JDM Grab bar
"Spike" bolts
Removing louvers from fan shroud

Let me know what you think... I love the way the tail-section of her Elite looks now; MUCH cleaner. No more luggage rack and bulky taillight.

that scooter looks great!! that diamond coat on her wheels i also have but it was used as the clear for my plastics(spary can). and what is the site for the jdm parts? where did that bell cover come from? they make one for the spree?

odinxxix, man, there isn't a "site" for parts... that would be waay to easy. -i searched for sites carrying Honda scooter performance parts for a while, and some "sites" (like VT) have parts, there arent many pics to look at.

i guess you just have to kinda know people who have stuff, and most are in Hawaii.

Sucks to say it, but there arent many performance parts for a Spree. Tazland (i think that's his name) is sourcing parts / materials and is mfg'ing his own for sale. -his stuff looks good, too.

im thinking it's my turn to say it: "Dude, swap in a DIO." Many guys here have done it here and can guide you on what needs to be done.

hey zr i already have the bbk getting ready to install and a set of gears from an 87 spree. i was just looking for a new tail lite and maybe turns, you said you sprayed yours, was your lens clear? think i would like to have a clear one for the euro look. if you know of any let me know. ill keep searching in the mean time

I know it sounds like a long shot odinxxix, but the newer honda ruckus looks like it has a taillight that it very similar to the Spree. If you have a buddy that has one, see if he lets you try it out. There are all kind of options if that is the case
