Re: What is this ?
Greetings:
Let's see... Huge instrument cluster, stepped saddle (conveniently pre-stripped of that pesky vinyl covering...), fat tires but still small-diameter, unrecognizable big engine block. Without the plastics it's hard to be sure but I agree with Baka.
If it's handy to your location, (and you're willing to invest the time dismantling) there may be way more than $100 in marketable parts on there. Who knows how much more? Sales can finance the build of your One True Love.

Re: What is this ?
It's an '87 Elite 150.
The body panels are even harder to score than the '87 Elite 50s. That's a parts bike at best. The front fork is '87 only, but the motor will bolt directly into '85-'87 Elite 150s and '84 Elite 125s. The motor is a GY6LC and can push that bike over 62mph, so it may be worth having if it turns freely and the oil/coolant are still present.

Re: What is this ?
Actually you can buy brand new panels for that bike from a guy in San Francisco. $220 or so for a complete set in several colors. Check SF craigslist.
Those 87's are nice bikes- I have one

Re: What is this ?
.
He goes by halfpricetrade on eBay. Last I checked, he was out. Maybe he's got a line on panels, as the '87 model bike was sold as the SYM Duke 150 for markedly longer than the Honda. My buddy had a pair of them that I rebuilt from trash. I'm more partial to the '85-'87 Elite 150s. Really wanted a CH150D, but then I got my '83 Yamaha and fell in lurve.nacree wrote:Actually you can buy brand new panels for that bike from a guy in San Francisco. $220 or so for a complete set in several colors. Re: What is this ?
Wheels/tires too small for a 250. I'll agree with those voting 150.
