Hello.

Today I installed the battery, and poured in fuel.
When I started up the scoot I heard a bell sound that went away after a while.
What is it?
Bike runs the same as before wintertime.
(I had it partially disassembled, kickstart and the side covers.
I also found a little round hollow cylinder made out of metal when I started it. Any ideas what it's for?

ok lets see here, you had the kick cover off,did you do anything to it? that little metal hollow tube might be the spacer that goes in the variator which also might explain the bell sound.

I was planning on riding it from my parent's garage to my house about 10 miles but I'll skip that.
I wonder how the heck this thing came out?
The day I drained gas when the scoot was leaned to one side I would hear marble noises which I thought were the rollers, but maybe it was this.

Thats way too small to be the centre of the vari. It looks more like one of the little collars that go between the engine case and the belt cover case where the bolts go through.

That is a dowel pin guide for the trans cover. Those things come out pretty easy sometimes.the ringing sound is because the rear trans is touching the rear pulley from that missing guide so the cover is sitting out of place. You can run without that rear cover. It won't hurt anything. In fact is better for the rear clutch in keeping in cool.
