the 80/90 and 90/90 numbers are in mm so you can just do a mm to in. conversion .the 80/90 is about 3.15 in wide and the 90/90 is 3.54in wide

1 inch is 25.4mm. so a 90/90/10 is a 3.5433070866147....*10. the second number is the percentage of the width, it is the side wall.

Did I explain that well? :?:

edit: here is a link that will give a diagram: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/ ... p?techid=7&

I was just about to post that very point, and you beat me to it. First number is the height.

fightingplankton, the Spree doesn't allow much room for growth. Doubt you would be able to exceed 2.75x10. I just recently bought tires and decided to just stay stock 2.50x10 on the Spree. I doesn't have a lot of power as it is, and larger tires may give you a tad more speed, but hurt your power.

3 X 10 will not effect anything but top end. Fits without any modification. raised my top speed by 5 MPH! :woot: I have a Cheng Shin Highway tire out back.

Kenda is Stock as far as I know find one that is 3X and there you go. Personally I'd say get over it it's faster, right? Try these guys they seem pretty cheap and I am waiting on my order for my Elite https://www.americanmototire.com/catalo ... 92df60085c

Gotta go with Superstore. I ordered over the weekend, order was shipped 8:15am Monday Morning, and arrived 11:30am Wednesday. Price is great too, and they took my Discover Card, no problem.

American Motors has slightly lower price on tires, but they make up for it on shipping. They would have charged $46 for 4 tires. Superstore shipped for free. Superstore ended up close to $40 cheaper for total purchase.

kenda is not the stock tire for the spree or my elite, my spree had INOUE and it sat in a barn since winter 86 and its and 86 and had alot of miles put on it in a short amount of time!!, and my elite has IRC which when i talked to the guy i bought it from said he never changed the tires and he had it new in 2000 bought it with 5 miles on it.and when i got it,it had 1202 on it.

I need a new rear tire and after reading this thread thought I might go with the Kenda K329 in 2.75 X 10 size (from Motorcycle Superstore). I have a stock INOU or whatever 2.50 x 10 on the front so I hope it won't make a difference to go with the bigger tire on the back.
