Waldo teen injured in mo-ped crash

A 16-year-old Waldo youth was hospitalized after he injured his head in a mo-ped crash at 2:32 p.m. Friday in the Oostburg High School parking lot at 410 New York Ave., police said.

Justin W. Kaat, of N3194 Mill Road, was taken to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center after he was thrown from his 1986 Honda Spree, said Sgt. Chad Broeren of the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.

Kaat was driving the mo-ped at 25 mph and pulled up on the handlebars in an attempt to get the vehicle to jump a 2-foot decline in the grade of the parking lot, Broeren said. Kaat, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown over the handlebars and landed on the pavement, Broeren said.

Kaat was cited for reckless driving, Broeren said.

jump on spree

Post by KillinSpree »

I dont pull push my spree down than pull it up when i do a wheelie. I just put my feet back by the side panels and pull up. The longest wheelie i have done yet is a 1/4 mile. I could go allot further if i had more room. You guys should trie it sometime. cya

I jumped my Spree many times. The first time I ever jumped it I wrecked, but after that I got the landing down right. :) The handlebars did eventually fold up against the seat, but I took a propane torch and heated the frame tube up till it was cherry red almost and then bent it back straight. Then I welded some support plates around the area and it was stronger then ever.

Jumping a Spree without a helmet is retraded and doing it on pavement is even more retarded.
Comeing soon: Possibly the fastest Spree in the world...
