how to clean out carb and exhaust

i just bought an 86 spree and while it does run fine i would like to clean out the carb and exhuast to getting running in tip top shape, how do i go about this?

There are some great pic-by-pic instructions in the tech docs section. Also, spend the extra few bucks and get the carb dip instead of the spray.

The carb dip was hard for me to find in my area, but I kept looking and asking at the autoparts stores and finally found a dusty, dented can... Well worth the effort and $20 more compared to the spray can!

cleaning the muffler helps. I did mine last week big difference afterwards. I did the liquid drain cleaner (there are instructions in the tech section) didn't take that long but be safe, WEAR PROPER GLOVES AND USE FACE SHEILD IF YOU HAVE ONE!!!!! If not I would get one. I was wearing the proper gloves but still got a little smudge onn my arm and there is a small scab where it burnt my skin!!
