what year did honda sprees have kick starts?

i know some only have electric some have both..was it 86 and up???

1986 and 1987.

To that point, my 1985 didn't have one, but I bought a basket case '86 and switched the side cover and inner gears. Kick starter is a nice fallback if all else fails.

The spree was electric start only up until 86.
84 and 85 were e start only on sprees,
The aero is the scoot that was e start only in 85.

I'm glad you did, I would hate to have wrongly informed somebody. My '84 had kickstart but I later found out it also had an sb50 engine so I forget sometimes
