Is it possible to add a glove box on my 88 elite E? I could have swore that my friend has one. Anybody have one for sale?

Your friend may have had one on an '88 elite LX but not an E. There are baskets and cubby hole type things you can get.

Eliteguy is right on, the LX does have a glove box, but I don't see how it could be adapted to anything else, if that's what you have in mind. Neither of the small frame scooters has a luggage rack big enough or strong enough to support a milk crate, so that's out.About the only solution for the E and Spree is saddlebags. They would no doubt have to be custommade or altared to work, but a consideration. Since we shop with ours in good weather, we normally take the Elites, but may consider saddlebags for the small frames.

Actually there were front and rear baskets available for the Spree. They be rare but I have a rear one.

I am running an aftermarket front basket on my E right now. It would not be hard to make your own either.
