Definitely some markets, possibly even the US market got the 90cc version of the Passport descendant of the Cub/Super Cub. It was not uncommon for a 70 owner to swap motors with a 90 or more. The engines were shared with the CT-90 and CT-110 Trail machines. However despite that dirt-oriented front tire, the one in the pic looks like the urban Passport stripped of its plastic leg shield. The Trail 90 had a telescopic fork, the pic shows a link front suspension.

What is the fair going rate for one of these? Running / Not running

Not running no title, I'd go $75, up to running with title, about $400. But that's just me. Parts are plentiful, but they add up quick. These bikes aren't scarce, they're everywhere. I see running examples out here in the PNW all the time on CL, way over priced, too.

i used to have one of those many years ago till the motor blew up then i used the front and rear shocks and tyres and fitted them to a suzuki a50 my river hack when i was 13

actually, i believe that is an earlier honda Trail 55, because of the dual sprocket set-up on the rear wheel.

Ct200, ancestor of the ct90 and ct110. I listed a non-running, no title ct90 on cl last month for $80 and it went fast.

looks like a 1967 Trail 90. No quick change 2 speed tranny if its a early 67. You have to change sprockets (which there are 2 on the rear end) for low and high gears. Had one of those and a 1974 ct90. Going price in that condition here would be $200 not running and $500-$600 running. Most everything around here is $500 if the engine starts and is rideable.

If you want the 2 speed (high/low) you can take one off the 1968-on trails and replace the output cover where the gear goes. They are bolt up with a output gear change.

It's a CT-90, probably a 1966 or 1967. I have a CT-200, and those have cast iron Knuckle-Head engines, which the one in the picture does not have. So, unless the engine was changed to the later aluminum alloy with the over-head cam, it's not a CT-200.

The CT-200 was a very good bike for its time. Mine climbs the hill getting to my house just as well as any of the newer CT-90s, and just as smoothly. It may not spec out as good as the CT-90s, but you can't tell it by the seat of your pants.

The best CT-90s came from 1969 on, because they used telescope forks and got rid of those abominable pressed sheet-metal link forks that all the older Honda 90s and 50s had. I've owned and ridden many of the small Honda trail bikes. CT-90s and CT-110s are durable bikes, actually utility vehicles. They carry two people, or many pounds of camping gear, into back country areas, quietly, while all the time sipping small amounts of gasoline. They will last a lifetime with minimum maintenance.
