Oldest Scooter?

Post by wiguy05 »

I have scoured the depths of the world to finally find a scooter the stock Honda Spree could beat! :surprise:

On this very rare occasion, I will agree with maddog.

A stock 50cc spree CAN do 40mph

Greetings:

If you can believe this, the Cushman crowd is even more nuts for their brand than we are. A 1937 would indeed be a relic in terms of riding, but there are Collectors out there who would pay a lot more than that price for one in good shape.

As always, you can always...

Dude! Swap in a Dio!!

What part of Image don't you understand. Maybe in the back of your truck, but under it's own power, not gonna happen.

ok maybe not "stock"

but 40 mph can be achevied with the stock displacement.

Other mods are needed.

Stock means stock, AKA "as produced." Once you mod anything, it is no longer stock.

Greetings:

Dude can have more than 1 bike. An Aero like that should be saved for special occasions. Put the miles on a cheap one.

I've done 40 on my stock Spree, although it was near the end of a looooong downhill run with a very stiff tailwind. After I soft seized once on a run like that, I quit doing it.

But yeah, stock on flat level ground, you're doing real well if you can hit 30.
