according to urbandictionary.com "props" is slang for "proper respect" or "proper recognition"

(interesting side note: i recently had to use urbandictionary to find out what "scamming" was...its when a guy hits on a girl for a one nite stand apparently...)

i actually doubt that people that use words like "wing-wang" and "scamming" are in any type of educational institution.
but it's where you go to figure out slang.
for example... if i said you need to "ctfd"
where are you going to go find out what that means? Merriam-Webster?

Props is simply an abbreviation. He is trying to show his respect for you and other riders here. Is that so wrong?

Is this thread going to need locked because not everyone grew up with the same dialect?
