Hi-Po Intake for Spree and Other 2 Bolt Intake Engines

Post by Bear45-70 »

I think I found the solution to the Spree, SB50 and 1985 Areo 50 small intake (2 bolt).

It handles 12 to 21 mm carbs. I have purchased one and will see if it fits.

Bear,

Good find, dude!! :2thumbs: I think the intake will work perfectly, because it says it's application is for the "Vision."

-You have "unlocked" a BIG performance secret on your find.

I had a Malossi performance intake that is very similar to the one you have found. Unfortunately I sold it a long time ago.

Good job dude, be sure to post up your results.

Suppose to ship from France tomorrow. How long it will take is a big "?" The last couple of things I got from England took 8 to 10 days an that was air mail.

However I did find another source of "good" intakes for the Spree 2 bolt intake. The NB50 intake is even better than the SB50 intake. I know this because I have one on my computer table right now. It still mounts the small carb but d*** the intake is huge at the reed end.

22.50 Euros for shipping and 11.99 Euros for the part makes it 34.49 Euros or a total of $45.52. His shipping is high as *. About double anyone else over in that part of the world charged me so far. On top of that my credit card company does not like him. I had to transfer some fund from an account to Paypal and then pay him from there.

I found the web site for SCEED 42. So I suspect one of you business types could get this stuff and sell it to us scooter forumistas. My translator sucks trying to tranlate their site.

I'll work on it, but what is the European equivalent to the American NQ50, or whatever version this fits?
