ghetto ride

Post by Mike »

temporary air filter made out of a rag put around the carbs air intake. had to cut a small slit so more air can get through. Possibly bad for the engine, but it works for now until i get the right filter in a few days. YES, ITS GHETTO. 8)

thats how i te,p did it. smear some oil on it every once and a while to collect dust particles, dirt. you can expect better acceleration/midrange with the box. a lot quieter too.

it could be... those carbs are very sensitive. you have to make the fake filter, just right. that box will probably solve any issues, but if it doesnt, we can work through it.

You can also try to modify a cup or something as a velocity stack but this would be more of a shield of anything kicking up from the tire.(via homemade power)

that is so when you are riding in the rain the tire does not kick up extra water into the pod filter
