I think you are referring to the bell housing for the clutch. You can get them from some forums members such as toboggan or vt cycles in Hawaii probably carries them.

Make your own.
Trafficjamz wrote:I have seen alot of sa50 builds with the rear clutch cover missing. I am not sure it is for heat issuses, or just to show off the cool clutch bell housings. Whatever the reason is, I like the way it looks, but do not like the fact that it looks like somthing is missing. So I took my pretty blue clutch cover, and the sharpest scissors I could find, and began to modify it.

Chrome, Schmome. Wheelman gets all his parts Plasma-Coated with a 100-micron layer Gin-You-Whine Diamond. That's right, pure Carbon-to-Infinity in a new and Top-Secret process. Then I scuff it up and sprinkle oil and crud so lesser Scooteristi won't feel so embarassed and humiliated, before I cover the whole thing with plastic panels.

OK... I will shed light on the subject -

The "custom" clutch covers (like the one on wifey's scooter) are made by a company called "Double Stars." (most likely Taiwanese) They come in chromed aluminum. I had the one for my wifes' SR sandblasted then wrinkle-powdercoated black.

Chrome isn't my thing, but I like it on other guy's stuff. Shiny!!

The only place I know where to find them is Hawaii though. I had an individual parts seller find one for me. Maybe try VT, or member Jay aka " elite_dub "

later, jon
