Camera mount
this is my first time posting here so please forgive me if im posting this in the wrong place. any way i allways wanted to shoot some video when we ride ( in hawaii that is ) so today i bought my camera mount a for whole 3.99 at lowes. enjoy. all i bought was L brackets and bent one of them to how i wanted it
Re: Camera mount
I guess you seen my race bike pics with my point and shoot camera mounted on the front of my bike on forumshawaii or on this site? it works good . just make sure you cut a small piece of cloth and use duck tape to cover the speaker on the front of the camera. if not your going to get alot of wind noise.use a rubber piece on the bottom of the camera where it mounts to dampen the vibration noise.
Nothing like getting stroked!

Re: Camera mount
haha yup i admit i copied your idea , seen it on forums hawaii. i tried making my own so it was adjustable but it had crazy vibrations but this works just fine. actually the wind noise wasn't to bad. what did you use for the rubber ? i was thinking of possibly a rubber washer. im uploading some video right on will be up in a little while

I can't help but post this article from Popular Mechanics. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technol ... -3d-camera
It looks like you could just put the slotted part onto your existing mounts and make 3D movies

Saw your video on you tube . Looked great and very smooth . And even going over the white pucks in the road looked smooth . Good Job on the vid. Also your video would make a great backround for a green screen video .

Got smashed by a idiot truck driver, while I was riding my Honda motorcycle. Broke my collarbone and ribs. Honda is pretty much totalled, but I ride my Ducati, so it's all good
Thanks for asking
