Only fools, morons or a psycho kills for trophies. You shoot it, you eat it. Wild pig is good stuff.

The bigs problem we have here is the domestic pigs that all the logging camps had for food. When the camps shut down back in the mid 1980's, they just let the pigs go. Now we have thousands upon thousands of feral pigs here where we had no pigs before. The Fish and Wildlife guys determined they are varmints and you can hunt them anyway time you want, any way you want. But the d*** beast are very smart and hard to take. If you do get one the rest leave and won't be back for a month or so. Baiting works best, a mix of corn and diesel then park your butt in a stand and wait. Biggest one I saw taken was a 375 pounder and that was 15 years ago.
