So Angie and I drove to Athens, Alabama over the weekend, to meet up with Mookie. After finding out that he had 3 Honda NS 50's, and he was willing to sell them, we drove down to pick them up. (6 hour drive)
We picked the WORST weekend for bad weather to go... took us 8 hours to get there with snow traffic.

Anyways, let me tell you Mookie is one cool freaking dude..
-Actually in the world of rare motorcycles, and custom projects, Mookie IS the dude.
He has some sweet insane projects, and a KILLER shop. I got to see his "cow" colored Aero, as well. :2thumbs:

SUPER nice, helpful, & friendly guy. Much appreciations to Mookie.

I have now started a "new" project.... Mookie's Honda NS 50; I will be restoring it into an NS 50 "racer"

Later, jon

Here's the NS 50 for a "BEFORE the restoration" picture.

Mookie used CRF plastics, tank and seat; I am going for the stock look of the NS 50, with subtle changes.

later, jon

+1 Mookie is welcomed in Hawaii anytime. I have a spare motorcycle for him to ride. I'll give him the grand tour of O'ahu :peace:
