Can't wait to hear more on your MB-5. Please keep us posted on your work with it. I need to hear more about NS50's and MB-5's to get this stupid Grom idea out of my head.

Hey ghost...that MB5 was strictly a flip-bike.
I sold it to a member of the Swoop Jockeys in Atlanta.
He has since gotten into running order and is ripping around Georgia.
My recent actions have resulted in purchasing a NEW Sym Wolf Classic 150... :thumbwink:
I am very happy with the Sym, and I have 2 years/24,000 miles to put it to the test.
Still sad about having to leave behind the NS50 based on comfort, but I think I have made a good choice.

Here is a pretty nice NS50 on eBay. It has all of the optional fairings, and the tachometer.

Here is another. Stupid price, but stupid condition. Seems if I was looking for a perfect one I'd call the number. Clean!

Well I have not yet pulled that VIN number, sorry motormike...........

On the other hand, I bought another NS50 which already has the upgrades I have waiting for my stock NS50, such as the Charmo 65 kit, and a proma Pipe. It also has some 18" mags from an AR80 as well as the forks + disc breaks. It;s exciting to ride, but I need to do more tuning to the 24mm OKO carb. I guess this could have been stolen too, as it came from GA where no one gives two of anything for a title. lol

http://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/file.ph ... 41/ns1.jpg

This will be my experimental bike before I break into the fresh kit and new pipe. I think I am going to dive deep into carb tuning to wrangle this beast.

Feel free to smirk and laugh, but I hope to do the ton on this thing. It's got the right wheels and gears, I might need some custom sprockets, and a bit of gumption. Who knows...........

Ha, that is exactly it! It's a firecracker! Did you put the pipe/kit/oko carb on there? It's odd that the cylinder says charmo and 49cc?

This isn't the stolen bike is it?

This is NOT stolen... :thumbwink:
I guess that Will D. put the kit on it.
He said that he blew it up a few times.
I bought it here in Nashville from a father/son race team who used it on track to learn on.
I took it to True Grits in 2012, and that's when Will bought it.

Hey Shifty-Fifty Dudes!!

Long time no speak! I've been so, so busy in "Bird-World" - it's been such a busy summer with rehabbing songbirds I've had very little time to ride my NS at all. Glad to see that the thread is still up and going...

I just saw paulpauly7's post about Japanese pipes, and it reminded me to post something I've been meaning to post forever now.

** I wanted to give you guys first "dibs" on my spare RS LIP'S R-13 Chamber pipe.**

-I had bought it last year just because I love the way the 2 chamber Lip's pipes look- but with my Stage 2 Lip's bore, I definitely need to stick with the chamber that's made for the bore; the R-13 does not flow enough to support my 63cc... I was planning on keeping it in case I found another NS50F, but lately I barely have time to start my bike, let alone ride -another- NS. :(

The R-13 is MADE to work with the STOCK 50cc cylinder, or light bore up kits. Lip's prides themselves in the R-13 being a direct BOLT-ON, with only a spark plug change being needed to use the pipe. "No carb jetting needed."

Anyways, the pipe has been mounted once and idled for a whopping 5 minutes. It sounds incredible as all Lip's pipes do. It was on so briefly, I never even installed the mounting hardware.

I am asking $250 plus shipping, FIRM. I have over $340 in the pipe with shipping from Japan.

If anyone is interested, please email me DIRECTLY at TE37scag@aol.com and I will send ya pics.
There's only 1 other Lip's pipe in the USA, and it's on my NS!! :D

Later guys, hope all is well with everyone!
Jon

Hey guys! Just purchased my own NS50 today. It seems to be running without a battery.... I was wondering if any of you with one could post a picture of your battery setup. Thanks!
