Dear gyro thread. For the past two days i have been punching myself in the nuts over the deal i snoozed on. If anyone has seen the illinois/indiana craigslist you would have seen the 86 gyro for 100$!!!!!! and you ask why didnt i buy this...Because when i called it was sold......so now ill just live vicariously through your posts.

i will be selling some gyro decals. if anyone wants a set. you get every sticker that comes on the gyro. even the fenders. you can check out the details in the wanted/ for sale section called honda gyro decals 1985/1986. as of now i am waiting for vinyl but once i get the vinyl, i will be taking orders. there will also be an ebay link when the vinyl is in. feel free to ask questions

Ha - lots going on here in a week!

66Six posted a good fender idea, gyromaniac is up to Gyro sticker repro's and a trans knock. Motormike posted some artbike stuff, for which Flying Eyeball and V.D. is still up for grabs. 66Six is on a seat roll, has a now famous upholster who's done a bazillion good looking seats for 66Six.

I met member zuphilius and bought his '84 Gyro. Half the time was spent attempting to convince him to hold on to it. It's a keeper! Here's photos after a wash/wax and carb work. We added a front basket then took a 1/2 hour ride. This is our new favorite grocery getter.

Under the covers, things are as good or better than his thread, sure appreciate a bike with everything gone over. Thanks zuphilius this is 2 bananas

Glad to hear you got it running proper. It would have been nice to keep it, but no place to keep it was the deciding factor. Looks amazing!!

I got some from Honda a while back, probably can get then elsewhere too. I've never tried the larger tubes.

No, 15X600X6 tube is way too much to be stuffing into a 4.50-5.30X6.....the right size is available at ACE hardware....bought 2 there this summer....AND most any other lawnmower parts distributor.
