The gyro fast became my favorite thing to ride.... :thumbwink:
racing with minimotards is total blast...I had a mini, but as soon as i took the gyro out, the mini lost it's attraction. My '85 Gyro S was raced approximately 16 times this year with no failures. wore out 4 rear tires, but the front lasted all year.

I got my gyro running and when i ride it wot for a block or so it dies and wont start back up till cooled down. I pulled the carb apart and it has a 75 main jet. Does anyone know what to run and is there suppose to be that brown spacer inbetween the carb an intake like the sprees have?

Shop manual indicates no spacer between carb and intake. O-ring only... Jet size is not given and I have not had mine apart.
Wish I were more help.

66SIX has recently bought new petcock (not NOS but chinese) and works good. Are you wanting original with stock plastic knob?....mine will cost more than new.

Picture is so small, I cant see the awesome handiwork you've done. I know 66SIX can post pix that are the size of your house. You must have gotten this one running since it has 14 more miles on it than when you got it...I hope you haven't pushed it that far.....hahahahaha
