Flat Hill, no tow rope. Nice try though. Usually it only gets about 34-35, but it was running exceptionally well today.

Must be a smudge on your visor. I suggest windex to clean it. Performance will suffer but, you will be able to see better.

I would have to agree with you.... If I were playing a joke, but I am not. I am simply utilizing the forum for what it was meant for, which is sharing our spree/elite experiences. So I would appreciate it if you would keep your pompousness to yourself and look to what we are all here for, the joy of owning and riding our ride(s) of choice. :thumbwink:

i got mine to do 45 down a LOOOOOOONG steep hill, leaned way over, wind behind my back and my buddy clocking me with his truck.
If it don't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

I have hit 40mph on the spreedometer with a 2.5 tire.

the spreedometer lies.

GPS numbers, on flat ground, are the only ones that count. :thumbwink:

So can anyone tell me what the absolute top speed of a Honda Spree is???... and if you can't than how can you say that hitting anywhere close to 40mph is impossible.

The stock Spree will show about 32 max on the speedo, most less than that.

My 1985 Spree showed 30 mph speedometer/27.9 GPS

I changed the rear tire to a 2.75X10 tire and got 30 mph speedometer/28.4 GPS.

That is on the flat at sea level.

Oh and I have owned this scooter since 1985 and it had less than 300 miles on the clock when I got it. The PO only rode the scooter, never did a thing to the scooter.
