From a friend in Hawaii, it took some work for him to track them down. These parts are becoming harder and harder to find.I wonder if someone on the forum could fabricate the grab bar at a reasonable cost?

I just wish some one would fabricate the side stands... 100 bucks just seems a little high for the ones that are available.

I agree, the weird part is they have been roughly that price for the last 15 years :*:

I'd be willing to fabricate the side stand.

Can you send me some info on how it needs to mount up? Maybe some pics?

I would be able to make this for far less that $100.

richdavison34 - More info: Check out the 'wiki topic for side stands. There are pics of burnt toast's commercial stand and some home made stands.

Thanks for the link mousewheels!

Those are both really good ideas. I can guarantee you that one he made out of the dirtbike stand isn't going anywhere.

The one made out of square tubing was cool too.

This is something that will be a little easier for me to fab up since my scooter has a very similiar frame...at least in that area.

Definitely! That way I can make sure I'm working with the same dimensions.

I had one of thesehttp://www.monsterscooterparts.com/kick ... i-400.html laying around, so i bolted it up to the motor mount bolt and i like it. She bumped once but only one a hard banking? turn. wroks good, (i had it laying around in my garage)
